Mark Hamilton
Director of Photography

Simultaneously with his vocational work he completed academic courses at Northbrook College and Bournemouth University, graduating with a Master of Arts degree in 1997. The same year he assisted on the historic, LIVE TO THE NATION address given by The Queen following the death of Diana, Princess of Wales.
He progressed as a television lighting cameraman on news, travel and popular culture documentaries including the BBC TV series, FRED DIBNAH'S INDUSTRIAL AGE, and in scripted drama on Channel 4’s, BROOKSIDE and, HOLLYOAKS. It was, however, whilst developing his craft on advertising and music promos where he established himself as a Director of Photography.

After a series of short films Mark photographed his first feature, CAPITAL PUNISHMENT with director Adrian Vitoria, and they continued their collaboration on titles including, THE CREW starring Stephen Graham, HIT GIRLS with Rosie Fellner, and World War II adventure, AGE OF HEROES with Sean Bean and Danny Dyer.
Mark was invited into the Bollywood fraternity by director, Aditya Datt; lensing the high-octane action movie, COMMANDO 3 starring Vidyut Jammwal, whom he later reunited with for the extreme sports thriller, CRAKK, which also stars Arjun Rampal.
Aside from cinematography Mark is an award-winning DIRECTOR, known also for his long association with the ROYAL HOUSEHOLD.
