Synopsis

Jane Hampton is an experienced investigative psychiatrist and is working on a case that, all being well, should lead to recognition and instant promotion. The study is of murderer, David Catcher, who has confessed to the crimes. But Jane, to the annoyance of the impatient police and hostility of the stubborn David Catcher, believes that his guilt is not of the murders... Her quest to determine his guilt sheds an uncomfortable light on his past... 

Kenith Trodd, Executive Producer

Kenith Trodd has extensive experience in Independent drama having produced most of Dennis Potter's best works including, ‘Pennies From Heaven’, ‘The Singing Detective’ and ‘Blue Remembered Hills’. Trodd has also collaborated with a range of Writers/Directors, including Stephen Poliakoff & Danny Boyle. More recent credits include Paul Greengrass's ‘The Fix’, Nigel William's ‘It Might Be You’ and the film ‘Circle of Friends’.

Cheryl Campbell, Lead Actress

Two times BAFTA winner, for her appearances in, ‘Malice Aforethought’ and ‘Testament of Youth’ and BAFTA nominated for Potter’s, ‘Pennies from Heaven’. Cheryl’s other film credits include: ‘The Mill on the Floss’, ‘Chariots of Fire’, ‘Greystoke’ & ‘The Shooting Party’. More recently Cheryl starred in 'Foyles War' and David Yate's ‘The Way We Live Now.’
